june 2006: rv moved in
november 2009: rv moves out, to boon lay.
3.5 years have since passed.
wow time flies. rawrrr.

i suppose for my batch it's what most sec 4 students have to go through: new campus.
as much as i'll miss the malan road campus, i'll remember dearly the memories during 1/2^oC and 3/4Dots (:
the times in conference room, (container) classrooms, science labs, toilets, com labs, canteen, canteen swing, library, lecture theatres, field, grandstand, bball/tennis/volleyball/netball courts, staircase.
d.p.s, long lectures about TFU & ASK, curriculum lessons (and dozing off too!), slogging out during hols in com labs and so many more....
everything'll be different in the new campus i suppose?

somehow im looking forward and not looking fwd to it too.
the scenery here is damn perfect. cool tall looking buildings x2 and very very windy mornings (:
besides, we're the only school located in th alexander area i suppose.
those above are stuff that the boon lay campus can't give us.
esp when ppl ask, "where's ur campus right now" and the easiest understandable reply would be, "alexander there ah; opposite HP and NOL yah u know?"
what we get in boon lay? smoky vehicles in the morning, and schools/HDBs everywhere. and stuck in between so many other schools like sandwiches. =.=
probably this would be what it means by "the grass is always greener on the other side."

tmr i shall take some last pics of rvhs in malan road campus, aka. former sajc campus.
and hopefully take one cube of th rvhs signboard too? XD

Sighs, I'm missing 4Dots '09 already.... D: D:

All the stuffs throughout these two years such as the spoilt aircon, the clock that has no cover, screwed speakers, blackbird from next door...

All of us will never be in the same classroom at the same time anymore, especially when the fun was just starting to build up after the EOYs like watching CSI: Miami, ji-go-ba, 终极密码, 猜拳 and so on.

First was retirement ceremony for Mrs Brenda Law, saw some past photos of teachers (LOL!) and not forgetting Mr Hor and his 1999 photo! So cute lah ;D

It's scary though, cse even Mrs Law's baby photos were inserted into the video. O.O

After which the prize presentation was pretty bored, stoned there for x hours. Luckily there wasn't any bilingual speech.

However I'm curious though how come they're giving Academic Awards for 2008 in 2009?

Whatever.

Then there was this ppt about the school history, some crap like last ppt in Malan Road campus hall.

But the thing was that her ppt was a simplified version, then say 55th anniversary continue with more. So zhun we're still in Yr 6. =.=

So after that went back to class, shown the class video, and gotten presents from 郭老师 (one for everyone and one for treasurers :D) and a survey + 2 candy empire chocs from Mrs Yuen (even the non-phy students got it too haha) :D

Lol apparently the 3-5 lines of FT's Remarks were written by our dear LA teacher Mr Hor :D

No wonder he once said on Facebook that he "works closely with GLH and ALY".

After school, 21 of us boarded 97 heading to Marina Sq direction, though I forgotten how many ppl actually ate at Seoul Garden.

Haha I was sitting with Yikai, then adjacent table was Liu Yi, Jeffry and Mu Wei.

Apparently our two tables are the no-green zone, meat only! XD

Oh yes, Mu Wei and Yikai thought Seoul Garden was a garden like Chinese Garden. (Y)

Feasted quite a lot, tried all the ice-cream flavours an dumped vege into the fire (literally).

Not to forget I tried cooking a half-boiled egg but ended up sucking the yolk and white using a straw cse the egg white's outer layer was quite hard...

Somehow after the 3rd time they changed the pan the fire extinguished for no reason at all, but we weren't cooking liao so nvm lol.

Ultimately we had the usual ji-go-ba, 猜拳, and th loser has to eat a piece of vege to clear them (wastage got charge mah...)

In the end when we finished the vege we tried strawberry ripple ice-cream prawn.

Extremely delicious! Even after peeling the shell the sweet smell is still there, kindda taste like 麦片虾.

ROARRR could have eaten much much more aha but ohwells it's a class outing after all so go with th class lor.

Took class photos at Seoul Garden by getting those outside to pose at the window.

A few of them went home earlier though, and then the few of us left took even more photos outside. 全家福 bah :D

After which Shu Wei, Jeffry, Yunhan, Kendrick and I went to Sharon's hse to play Bridge. LOL!

Stayed there until 6.30+, then played w the lift where Kendrick and Jeffry takes turn to outrun the lift to the next floor, or two floors down for Kendrick (and he anticipated that!)

Heh I lazy only ran the first part from 13th floor to 12th only.

Yalah after that nth much liao lor...

12/09: NSC & NJRC Finals

[NSC]

Started the day by meeting up with Adriel and Jeffry at Dover MRT station, then walked to SP for the buffet. XD

Then uhhh Jan Lin came too, so that he can give a "last-min prep session" for the 3 of us.

How nice though, he was there for the food! -.-"
Frankly speaking, NOI's food was much much better. -wide grins-

So while we were inside NSC programming for two hours, Jan Lin took the courtesy of walking arnd-cum-eating for a full two hours of breakfast.

And yes, we learnt not to use the uber-new Toshiba tablet PCs for programming ARGH.

The keys on the keyboard are spread out so neatly like an ordered table that it was so difficult to type urgh.

Blegh screwed up on my question with insane number of for and while loops and still didn't manage to solve it. (Well I used vars from 'i' all the way to 'm'. -.-)

After th comp, food again! (Unfortunately, no pork or eclairs :/)

Strolled arnd then went to the prize-giving ceremony, not before hearing a talk on courses offered at SP...

18 teams, 9 awards for Algo section. Sweet.

At first we thought we couldn't win anyth, after the 7th to 9th teams were announced, then there was the Merit award (4th to 6th) that all 3 of us were (kind of) caught by surprise hahahaha.

Trophy + digital photo frame.

Not to mention Jan Lin getting the digital photo frame too for impersonating as a teacher, given to all teachers.

[NJRC Finals]

So same thing went to Sci Centre for the Finals, but once I reached there I saw a whole grp of RVCC peeps sitting near the audience stands liao - blegh meaning that all the mission runs had alr ended.

There was the Facebook gang, the mahjong gang, the cards gang and the mugger gang too!

So while waiting for prize ppt to start we went inside Sci Ctr and hang arnd.

Blegh some of the juniors were uber-childish lorh. -.-

After which it was ppt time, sat there staring at the stage...

This year they gave the Championship Award halfway into the ppt, prob because the GOH (Mr Iswaran) had to leave early. =.=

Congrats to Marvin's team yeah :D

Though Marvin would be happy and sad at the same time cse after th ppt he was gang-raped by many many juniors. =.= praying mantis seh..

After which the whole gang of us (26 or 28 can't rmb) went to JP Ajisen.

Whoa at first we scared they not big enough but inside we managed to sit one entire row + two more tables!

Super spacious lo.. but also not many people eating at that peak-hour timing too. -.-

Then I shared with GSM the Tom Yam set, and we both koped from those who couldn't finish too. XD

After that Justin, Kwan Ki, Li Wei, Wei Jie, Yi Sheng treated us to ice-cream (some sort of seniors treat juniors thingy haha).

Huge thanks to th 5 seniors :D :D

Come to think of it, I've not seen any seniors before Jan Lin's batch though, and it was nice hearing that Jan Lin's batch was the first batch to start the end-of-year chalet thingy too ahahaha :D

The remaining ones left - with Li Wei sacrificing himself to take the shot for us :D

10/09: ICES Open House & NJRC Prelims

Haha i've got a sudden urge to type this when i should be mugging...

[ICES Open House]

Well I reported to Sci Ctr directly in the morning instead of going to school then coming back up to Sci Ctr...

Ended up Qing Hua got scolded by Mrs Lee back in school, cse he called me then i said i'll be at Mac in half an hour's time (i wna go see NJRC mah), then Mrs Lee thought I haven't reach Sci Ctr (while all of them are still in school =.=) and flamed QH for not asking me to hurry to Sci Ctr asap. =.= SORRY QING HUA!! :X :X

So after that when everyone came via school bus we lagged there for some time, courtesy of the oh-so-efficient Sci Ctr.

Meanwhile we were told that no cams allowed, gahh i didn't expect Jurong Island (JI) to be such a high "secretive" area...

Finally some Sci Ctr guy came, and we boarded their bus to JI, cleared Checkpoint to get our sticker passes...

Heh JI is so cool, in terms of how it was actually set up and located away from main island, and yet with such complete infrastructure. :D

So reach there, walked arnd their exhibition panels, then went to ICES.

Haha we are apparently all attracted to the sight of food when we saw a mini-buffet table. -winkswinks- :D

So at ICES hall we listened to a ppt by a prof, then went to a booth behind the hall.

Liquid nitrogen ice-cream! :D

Hahaha that guy made a few bowls of it, using different cereals each time. :D

It's very crunchy, not those industrial creamy type - we were all attracted to the booth having a few cups per person. :D

Unfortunately liq. N₂ isn't sold in the market for safety reasons. =.=

Then thr's actually another booth that we didn't wander arnd for long since we were stuck at th ice-cream booth, it was about some cell that produces electricity.

After the fun it was time to tour the facilities, after wearing our lab coats and safety goggles.

OMG their safety goggles is totally transparent, see-through!

Their lab coats also very nice lorh, very white and we all look so professional after putting them on. XD

So then tour arnd the place, see the equipments....

AND WE SAW THE EQUIPMENT THAT WE ACTUALLY WANTED TO USE FOR OUR CID PW (but the school didn't have it) :X :X -green with envy-

Saw this particular equipment (dno for what alr), then the metal pipes inside still have Teflon coating seh, very smooth interior and expensive too...

But well i suppose money's not an issue to them yeah? ;P

Then after the tour it was time for the Refreshments (as they call it; ie. lunch):

虾胶, 烧卖, mini-choco muffin and spring rolls :D

So after that boarded the bus back to Science Centre...

After that reached at arnd 5 and managed to see the teams doing Run 2.

The audience seats were kind of.. empty, like less than one-third filled.

It's a new experience though, watching the runs from the outside of the fence rather than on the inside... D:

Heh the emcee even named one of RV's robots as "terrorists" because of the imba ball mechanism. :D :D

After which the day ended and a few of us went to JP Pepper Lunch for dinner (we had Justin there too! :D)

Teachers' Day Celebration + Class Movie Outing

HAHA long time nvr update, nth much either -.-

Chapteh n paper ball competition was zzz, we didn't know that the "practise" session was the competition LMAO -.-

So kick here kick there and see teachers kick them too LOL...

(No offences to anyone about the line below.)
Well, probably today's celeb was one of the rare well-received events planned by SCs...

EXCEPT... for the video, quite shaky and zzz... No offences though.

Considering that it should be a rush job (sai gang AGAIN) and Natasha has NJRC vids and stuffs to do...

Sighs why are they always so kind to do sai gang for them, wna do vid might as well they learn n do larh!

Heh the celeb was more of a concert for teachers.

Apparently all the singing sounds better with my ears covered, still can hear the lyrics clearly and the music too, and does not hurt my ears. =.=

Yan Shan's singing surprised me ROFL, to think of it it has been a long, long time since I ever talked to any 2C ppl except for Shu Wei, Zheng Xiao and Katherine... :x

David was err... a pop star! XD

OMG the best part was still RV's very own Wonder Girls (and guys too! XD)

After the concert rot in class a while, HOR International Airport was back up for business.

Planes flying here and there and everywhere!

Then left school with Zheng Xiao and Kendrick, after they placed the teacher's day card in the pigeon holes.

URGH 02/09 got so many thingy on larh - HSK briefing, NSC training and Shooting too TMD =.=

So after we reached Vivo we went to find the group.... as usual in outings the time taken to choose the lunch destination is about the time taken to queue and eat (apparently Garfield's Law doesn't apply here).

Ended up eating at Yoshinoya the salmon bowl, gahhh not full..

Then Kendrick n I queued up to buy rice balls (or whatever u call that) but so zhun4 at our turn the counter staff went to clear trays cse not enough trays to use. WTH O.O

Then entered the cinema before the ads started, damn early lo.

People who went: Cheryl, Sey Chee, Jesslyn, Tse Sin, Shu Yinn, Sharon, Yunhan, Pei Zheng, Sandra, Abigial, Yan Ran, Bi Jun, Zheng Xiao, Kendrick, Jason and me.

But still not half of the class.. only 16 out of 38.. -.-

The Proposal was BLEGHX, makes me feel comedy movies aren't worth the money, probably because I like interesting plots bahh kekex....

Zzzz so many sexual references and the movie was just rated PG HMMMM, wonder how they rate movies LOL O.O

Nth to talk abt the movie anyway.. just a woman who proposed to a guy so that she could extend her visa to stay in US (she's a Canadian; wtv heck) then lalala scam wedding, cancelled it off, then realised that they loved each other through the process.

So 千篇一律 lo.......

Naturally after that left home, then I walked walked around JP.

Urgh medicine ball - 4kg de for Kendrick and me.. Heng lah, 5kg i cfm buay tahan de =.=
Throw here throw there, then for same strange reasons after PE i went to bounce the basketball and erhem..
It feels like NOTHING HAHAHA (no serious, it feels like a netball/volleyball - super cool sia ROFL) xD

2. Class movie outing! - Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Whoah, by far it should be considered the most successful class outing (beside the chalet, not counted) - 17 ppl xD
Some non-Geog students went to buy tickets at 1, in case later no seats heh.
Yay thanks to Qing Hua the tickets was $7, cheaper by 50cts heh (:

The newest movie in the Harry Potter franchise is so-so lah, kindda makes me wonder at the end how the producers manage to drag for 2.5 hrs without much exciting content though.
Hmm perhaps that's why they added so many scenes of kissings blahblahblah...
Haha the two chars in this HP acted in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street too - the Dark Lord follower (Beadle Bamford in ST) & Bellatrix (Mrs. Lovett in ST).
Perhaps got freaked out once during the movie - when the Death Eaters were after Ginny.
I'd agree with the reviewers, this movie ii=s just the setting for the final fightings, me wouldn't give a high popcorn rating either ><
Just not tt exciting bah, so few spells and Quidditch matches heh, perhaps it's becse if th content in the book too.)
Haha i'd love to watch the next HP movie, hopefully it'd be more action-packed hurhur, the fightings and spell-ings.

RVCC Camp // 4-5 June 2009

Ahh, nothing much to blog about recently..
But yeah, RVCC Camp was super fun, being facilitators for the station games, The Amazing Race and night trail.
RVCC ROCK ON!! :D :D

Reached school in hse tee super early at 6.40 [supposed to meet at 7], but Shu Yinn alr there le lor ><
Waited until Com Lab 1 and LT3 open and started to do final preps for TAR uh..

The weatherman predict cloudy weather for the day so just printed both the actual program and the wet weather program on both sides of the paper, which later caused some confusion -hem hem-

Replaced the stones for the Bucketful of Stones with 2 by 4 LEGO bricks.
Pasted the labels for the clue envelopes, letters for the bricks and sorting stuffs for different stations yeah.
Not to forget ripping off the pages of the Sci Ctr magazine as the backing for the Minesweeper Flags cover papers.
All before everyone [except station masters and team leaders] were supposed to reach at 8.30 rahhh.
Yet didn't manage to complete everything by the time ice breakers were supposed to start though. D:

So for ice breakers Ser Ming and I were assigned to Sylvia [Selenium], Li Zhen [Platinum] and Magdalene [Zinc]'s groups.

The Jumping Names game was about sian though - everyone was lagging, and all keep calling Clive.

After that was the HA-HA Game, ended quite fast though, since they were hmm, rather "cold"?

Then we played the Questionnaire Game, asking their favourite RV teacher, fav colour, ideal job, how many children do they want to have and when would they want to get married.
The two jokers Justin and Kenneth wrote same answers: hot pink, toilet cleaner, -1 children, to get married now -.-
Haha, the forfeits were so LOL-ish, started off with Terence running around the Hall waving his hands and shouting that he dunno about his ideal hob, then got pumpings, hold hands and spin etcetc.
Shan Ju shouting "I Love Ying Ho" to Ying Ho [duh]..
Me and Ser Ming wanted to zheng3 Sylvia lo, cse Terence and her like white so we made the forfeit for the two to touch nose-to-nose for 10 seconds for both groups [of 3] to see.
Ended up they didn't manage to guess Terence so plan failed grrhhh. =.=
Ended off the Game with all 9 teams doing forfeit by doing the peel banana dance, with Bernard in the centre. HAHAHA ;D
Hmm, just realised while typing this that we didn't played the "IT" Game.. Sorry D:

After that was station games - Jun Kang, Kiat Peng and I were in charged of the 500 miao bu NG game.
2 ppl skip rope twice consec, bouncing ball to another person with the head, drink 600 mL in one mouth [supposed to be 500 mL - but Ice Mountain bottle got "20% extra =.=], transport a huge water balloon, eating potato chip from the nose, transport table tennis ball, creating a line of 25 [?] metres and finally blowing a balloon till it bursts.
Quite fun managing the station though - especially the line of whatever things they have on them.
Wallets, handphone, shoes, socks, shoelaces, bottles..
Then Cheng Yu that auntie went to take out all his notes and cards from his wallet.. damn long can >< AHAHAHA ;P

Then when the station games ended we went to Hall to play a game of "Elope".
Then Jun Kang and Melissa always tio "cut" and always win, except the last one when everyone purposely block them lo HAHAHAHAHAHA ;P

After the "Elope" game we started preparing stuff for TAR at HortPark.
Big confusion as to the labelling on the clues.. SORRYSORRY D: [i know i was going crazy at that time]
I was the "station master" for the starting point [Alexander Arch] - Sudoku.
Then Sylvia's team Selenium was the first to leave after 6+min, totally stunned when they hand me their Sudoku paper can.. ><
Then the last three teams to depart sian diao - went to play the odd-one-out hand game, so stagger their timing by 2 min each, last team leaving at 28 min 30 sec heheh.
Gahh Shu Yinn and my station is the fastest one, cse we forgotten to bring the Ziplock bags to waterproof the clues so teams just end up crossing a distance only - one team even completed in less than 70 seconds -.-
Sighs, then after the race we realised that Edmund and Liang Hui's station lost 13 of the LEGO parts, what an unlucky number. -.-
Then that loser Ser Ming went to give wrong List of items [the wet weather one], after that found out that he gave Ming Sheng the wrong ones he go give others the wrong one too, ended up teams can't find the items lahh - didn't get to zheng3 teams for the red lamp post marking thingy. ><
Lunch at HortPark was not really a proper one - have to stop eating when teams come, quite good though, potatoes [i'd prefer the eggs though heheh ;P], long beans and pork...
Gahhh while the entire race was supposed to last 4 hours, Magdalene's team [Zinc] came in first after 70+ min. =.=
Then the last team came within 100 min lo sighh, expected the race to be wayyyy longer :X

So since we were ahead of time everyone gets to play ball games while a few of us went to tabulate the scores.
After that went to play some random ball game - just keep the ball in the air - by foot or hands, anything. Senior team against junior team LOL. ;P
Then played human bowling - us seniors acting as pins and juniors rolling the ball.
At first only 6 ppl, then 10 ppl came.
Most of the time Jun Kang was the "first" pin lo, then if he gets hit everyone has to fall down too..
HAHAHA it was damn funnnn cann, although dunno why HAHAHAHAHA
Next time we should play Human Bowling during chalet? :D

After that heard Mr Seetoh telling stories about his NS life - ppl getting called by body parts, and the screwed uniform nametag guy, while everyone was taking turns to bathe...

Then while we were eating, ___ was leaning on the railings facing field with butt pirched out, then Shu Yinn wanted to shoot rubber band at it [Ser Ming's idea] but ___ turned around and didn't find out MUAHAHAH...

After finished eating, slack some time on the track then went back LT3 for Ex-Co handover and watch movie.

Didn't get to finish watching the movie though - had to prepare for the night trail.

Hmm, Sophia and my station was quite slack, since just get teams to paint their team member's face [by pairs], wasn't scary at all lo..
Since teams still got time to spare at our station so we decided to get the pairs [2 pairs each] to walk around level 2 and 3 classroom corridors of Blk B and C lo..
Waah the first team totally freakked us out man - Magdalene, Justin, Kenneth and Sasha were literally screaming at the top of the voices lah. Rather, shrieks.
The others were still quite okayyy, not scary de lo =.=
Went to peek into JK's station - the candle in guy's toilet behind canteen de - damn scary lah, esp with those ghostly images pasted on the walls and you can't see it clearly... :O

Then went back to LT3 to shift all our stuffs to classroom - gahh we don't get to slp in Hall this time round.
Didn't bring slping bag [thought we could slp on the blue mat in Hall like last year] so slept on the floor beside Zhi Jie.
Cleaned the LEGO bricks and munch-ed some biscuits b4 slping.
There's this evil plan of going down to track to slp - but dear Mr Teo went to slp outside the guy's classroom [4 tables for him seh].
Then when some ppl said he fallen asleep le I actually saw him wriggling his toes =.=
So didn't get to go track at all.
Slept at arnd 1.
My area was quite cold - the wind from the fans reminds me of the OBS store where I slept in for a night... Same thing too - woke up every hour gahhh...
Heard from Sophia and Shu Yinn that at night Ms Loo, Mr Keith Teo [for the Sports CCA Camp], Mr Teo, Mr Seetoh and Ms Jeanne Lim were talking in the canteen, so they just camped near bookshop there lo, by that time all the guys sleeping le HAHAHAHA....
Woke up at 6.15, thanks to Jun Kang gahh [Mr Teo wants us to wake up the same time as him] =.=
Then washed up and realised that the girls [seniors] were still sleeping soundly LOL, so the few of us shouted into the classroom from teh windows lo heheh ;P

Ate breakfast with the biscuits [Khong Guan] and the London Swiss [Choco] Rolls and packet Milo.
Then Ser Ming, Kristalynn and Sylvia played volleyball [using softer vball] against Li Zhen, Mei En and I on the track..
Didn't know vball was soooo fun HAHAHAHA :D :D
Then went to play vball with more people in the vball court lo, wah damn crazy lo - JK hitting the ball over the fence to the tennis court =.=

After that cleared the classrooms and had de-brief by the new bosses AHAHAHA ;P
Dismissed at 9.30 when the time in consent form was 10 or 11 LOL ><
Lagged in the classroom, placed stuffs in Com Lab 1 etcetc.
Then when we left the school we saw MR SURIA!!!!
OMG HE STILL LOOKS THE SAME HEHEHEH!
We wanted to take a photo with him but he dunwan, say that he wasn't supposed to be in school -.-
So after that took bus to coffee shop near Kiat Peng's hse to eat.
Then at KP's hse split into three grps - mahjong, monopoly and UNO stacko groups.
Went to play mahjong - waah my spot damn suay lah, everytime lose lose lose, until tio bankrupt [ran out of chips =.=]
After that Li Zhen took over me and she won after a few games, whoa finally got some "input" =.=
Aiya as usual the couple team was hard to beat lo, 只好认输 HAHAHA ;P
Left at 3 and the few of us [Li Zhen, Yun Fei, Shu Yinn, Sylvia, Ming Sheng, Ser Ming, Ying Ho and I] went to LJS to eat.. LALALAH.
After that I accompanied Yun Fei and Li Zhen for fun cse Li Zhen wanted to buy Polar cakes LOL...

Reached home at 5 plus.. then only slept for 8-9 hours that night thanks to stupid random wrong number phone call at 8 plus..

Ahahaha superrrr fun man!! 垃圾岛之旅 / 游, as what kendrick calls it...
Cse guo lao shi had sth on, mrs lee-teo and mdm lim kim choo followed our class to la ji dao. :X
And the whole time during the bus and boat ride we were making oh-so-much noise (when we promised guo lao shi that we'd be quiet kekex)

The boat ride rocks man!
We were sitting on the roof (is that what u call it?) when we left marina south pier.
Enjoyed the wind, took photos, mingled with the guide called Edward (he's super shuai LOL, wind blow and his hair still never fly xD)
Nevertheless, took some scandalous photos of our class chairman-cum-parade commander and dino, and the other chairman owning the condos at Sentosa..
Didn't managed to squeeze to the front-most of the boat though cse full of other 4D ppl liao haha.
Took one class photo there, thanks to the guide Edward.
Then during the phototaking we were like "say Edwarddddd" for the first shot and "sey cheeee" for the second shot HAHAHA...

Once we reached Pulau Semakau (aka. la ji dao) we went into the Briefing Room and yeah, had a briefing LOL.
Heard some facts infused with certain levels of propaganda.
And this video made by NEA about the island...
During his ppt, there were just outbreaks of shrieks and laughters, most "outstandingly" ones are Sandra and Tiening, hmm as usual? xD
ESP, electronic sea pricing?
So after the ppt the class splitted into guys and girls to board the van and bus respectively.
Smooth ride on the road then when enter the grass/off-road v bumpy alr.
Drove past the barge too, damn smelly =.= (i wonder how the workers stand the smell...or do they not?)
So at the other end of the island we took another class photo, after some of the other guys stopped playing with grass and throwing big rocks into the sea (they kenna scolded though - for returning rocks to indonesia -- no refund of money though xD)
Then went back to the admin centre there and waited while the briefing for 4B ended..

After that boat ride to mainland Singapore we sat inside the cabin..
And some of the other guys managed to switch on the TV, but switched it off after some wu zong xian show ended..
A lot of rotting in there, and then the pilot cabin was hijacked by Qing Hua and Jia De, and sent "blessings to Liu Yi and Zheng Xiao" ROFLMAO!!!!! xD
And the next time when Liu Yi and Mu Wei wanted to hijack the 2nd time tio blocked by the teachers sia..
Lesson learnt: when looking out for pirates from the nearby waters, look out for "internal" pirates too xD
Then a large crowd started playing some chao-mian game zzz.
They ended up doing forfeit when they reached the pier.. some kind of love story btw abigial, jeffry and a few others. Totally funny man xD
Rotted there for the bus to arrive.. :X

While we were on the bus back to sch, it was like a KTV..
Almost everyone was singing at the top of their voices.. Specifically two grps of guys only and girls only, different songs.
I could only hear the guys singing zao sia (cse i was close to them mah), too bad Si Zheng wasn't around...
Stunned that the teachers didn't scold at all the noise etcetc. :O
Hmmm, and we promised mdm guo not to make a lot of noise eh?!

After we reach school, the 17 of us in total took 100 together, albeit in 2 100 buses that arrived at the same time LOL.
Imagine a gang of 17 boarding MRT from Commonwealth and all near the door, at the pole there.
To add on, it was peakkkkk hour. Waahaahaa.
The class strength was even better than class chalet i think (?) LOL.

Waaa, super-tired now..
Can't believe I'm dragging myself to blog, when I was intending to fill CID mat req form. :X

7 am at Vivo City rooftop. Sianzzz.
I WANT MY SLEEEEEEEP!!! :X :X

RVHS 3. Team number: 37
Rachel, Ho Ching, Zheng Xiao, Jason and I.
Clare as our team facilitator.

Started off at 9+, with flag off by some Mr Ong guy LOL.
Ahh two words to describe what happened after the flagoff: exodus and stampede (not really though).

Everyone was rushing towards the MRT, and we were super kiasu lol, camp right at the train door.
To think of it, it's really scary for the train commuters, when suddenly this train arrives and a whole gang of yellow just dash/choing out and screaming too. :X

Somewhere along the journey saw Hui Ling, a friend fr pri sch.
Super qiao3 man...

So first stop we had to go to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
So took MRT to Clementi MRT, followed by bus 184, and walk...
BMW sia. =.=
Finally when we reached the nature reserve, we saw this police blue tentage (those u saw in the news uh huh...)
Freaking hell a lot of ants.
Our task was to hook 5 cans and a few bottles (can't rmb how many) using a makeshift rod with paperclip hook on one end.
Spent quite some time there with that last bottle zzz...

After that took 184 again to Ngee Ann Poly.
Wondered arnd (while following arrows) inside the poly, trying to find next destination...
Height challenges.
So we were supposed to do 3 "low" elements and 1 "high" element each.
"Low": Obstacle bridge, and tarzan swing
"High": We did different ones, I chose Flying Fox. Damndamn fun sia, first time trying it :D :D
I LOVE FLYING FOX!!! :D :D

Then from Ngee Ann Poly 52-ed till IMM.
Gruesome task.
Collect 15 cans, 5 bottles and 20 pcs of paper to form the words "Reduce, reuse, recycle".
Ended up surveying Kopitiam for the cans and bottles.
Kope-d the papers from Mac/MOS burger flyers xD
Disgusting blegh, completed the task in 17+ min out of 20 min given...

After that a short break to buy lunch at Mac, then off we go again..
MRT-ed from JE till Woodlands, to reach Causeway Point.
The task was to match all the train names to the MRT map.
Phew luckily we memorised it in the morning (heh heh thanks to Clare :D)

Then 161-ed to Blk 190C Sengkang.
4 stops, and it took 28+ min.. SLE and TPE...
Went to Blk 188 Pavillion, and we were told to collect newspapers.
The clearance level was until the bottom of my shirt (now imagine how many newspapers we'd have to collect :X)
Ended up not finishing the task so + 10 min penalty. D:
Longest and most tiring task. :X :X

After that 83-ed to Sengkang Interchange.
Just then saw Hui Ling's grp (same bus mah)
Then when the bus door open both teams dashed too.
Had to top up ez-link card cse not enough..
Luckily the train was to leave in 3-4 min time.
Then just took the NEL back to Harbourfront MRT.

Once there, choing again lor..
Heard that Hui Ling's team facilitator is/was (?) athlete, then at HF MRT he was running ahead of both grps.
Then we had to do puzzle matching and collect signatures for every try.
Ended up having to collect 25 sigs.
Then kope-d families/grps since thr're more ppl.

After that choing-ed to start/end point (Vivo City rooftop), and found out that we were 3rd.
And also the first team to finish with guys (apparently top 2 teams were all-girls LOL). :D :D
Finished at about 15.42 h or 15.43 h.

Since we'd have to wait till 5 for prize ppt to start, we camped outside POSB at Vivo City after buying drinks...
Our legs freakinggg tired sia.

Apparently our route was the easier one among the others, that's why finish so fast LOL.
Perhaps what made us not getting 1st/2nd was the 161 ride and the newspapers.
Sorry. :X

Then during the prize ppt, since only top 3 have trophy (top 10 all have medals per person), the emcee forget to give us trophy bleghblegh.
Ended up finding them to get the trophy.

YAY out of 7 teams, two RV teams won:
3rd: RVHS 3
6th: Green Pork

Thanks to Kee Heng for the Bus Guide and everyone that we've called/sms-ed along the race and Clare too (probably she won't read this LOL).

Total transport fares: $3.22 sia....

Blah, off to dreamland.

SAFMC 2009

Hmm early in the morning I was dead alr. Overslept.

Then when I reach there only Cheng Yu was there. =X

After that we entered The Annexe (yeah it's at Science Centre ARGH), and weighed the plane.

Realised that plane being overweight is fine, your marks just get deducted.

Luckily we haven't cut some foam pieces out from the plane yet, if not it wouldn't have sustained such INSANEEE number of blows.

The officials were super SLACK. I repeat, they're NICE! =D
(DSO staff do know exactly what they're doing, unlike the SC ppl rahhh.)

So what happens if you takeoff after the runway?
You get partial marks out of 10.

And about the overweight = marks deducted formula?
It doesn't apply at all LOLS, I guess they were just VERY KIND. =D

First run: 3 points (out of 50)
Cleared runway (partial): 8
Touch penalty: -5
Position: 5th

But by the time the second run we were 13th. Sighs.

Second run: 5 points (out of 50)
Cleared runway (partial): 5
Position: 16th

We were given 4 mins to try as many actual runs as we can, while in the first run we needed to "signal" for the actual run.

So at the end of the day we were 27th, and we talked to the Chief Ref about second run scoring.

Ahhh wells yay prob we're in the first page HAHA.

Hmmm I love what one of the officials said about our plane, while we were waiting for C. Ref.
"I like ur plane more than their's (points to Temasek Sec's plane, currently 1st with full points in 10+ sec), cse I know your made it youself de."
So I replied, "What are you implying zzz?"
Ahaha then he walked away liao hahaha.
No offences intended.
Temasek Sec's (FactorX) plane was kite-looking and "outstanding" (a lot of flashing lights mah).
It's control was superb sia!

Well we have kind of good teamwork effort huh?
Cse Raffles was flying the plane and Cheng Yu and Jeffry and I were in charge of catching the plane.
We're a swift repair response team man. =P
Tip (wing) float drop?
Spray 3M77 while running to runway LOLS.
Cracks or broken pieces?
Instant fiber taping on-the-spot, like a continuous action HAHAHAAA!
Other teams couldn't repair as fast as us LOLS.
In fact I was stunned at the durability of the plane, whacked upside-down and tail fin never break.
The power of epoxy. =.=
Ended up crashing and takeoffs for 9-10 times in 4 mins. MUAHAHAHA.
5 points YAY!
Imba shuttle run, and repair time like those of F1's HAHAHA.
Ooops super zi4 kua1 LOLS - we were that good mahhh! xD

Highest (15 points) among three RV teams (0 and walkover).

If Jun Kang was here yeah, but some things aren't beyond one's control.

Overall, lessons learnt:

1. Magic is always done on the day before the competition. Last minute work!!!!

2. Things always screw up on the competition day itself.
- Unless the officials are from DSO! =DD (DSO officials ROCKS YEAH!!!)

Final SAFMC prep & 6E'05 Class BBQ

Gosh, super happy today. =D
Changed the motor to brushless. Big difference LOL.
It took off from the ground and flew for 20-30 sec, after we changed to a bigger prop at 6 pm.
Though it's only in air for a short period of time, but it's an accomplishment already. =D

Well this goes to show sth: somehow for unknown reasons we work best during last minute.
Though we shouldn't be doing things last minute though.

However we still have work to do though, lighten the plane by 30-40 grams argh.

On a happier note, we have a 6E'05 class BBQ at Mabel's house.
Reached there at 7 plus, then the food were mostly cleared alr. =X
Soo ended up eating sotongs and more sotongs for dinner zzz, and paid $9 LOL (not tt I realyly mind though, since it's a longggg time since we had a class gathering).
After that just catched up with what's happening lor..
However not everybody turned up, shall not mention the names in case I leave anybody out LOL. =.=
Realised that Zi Song's sub combi super imba, 3 Sciences, 3 Humanities, Research Paper (somewhat like our CID) and C.Lit. -stunned- 10/11 subject man. Pro kia LOLS.

Everybody's results are so high and pro, mine just totally suck. =(

Then left Mabel's house at 10+ pm...

YDSP Congress 2009

Went back to school to gather, before we went to YDSP Congress 2009, at Orchard Hotel (envy me bah LOLS)..
Mrs Yuen was wearing red and black (found out from her later during Congress that she didn't want to look like the organisers + no more black top LOL)

So we reached Orchard Hotel at 1 plus, then they can't find my tag...
Zzzzz, I did register lor... Crapper..
Saw Ms Agnes Chia too - instantly reminded of the bowls/packets/bags of Mentos ROFL.

Since we arrived early, we walked arnd, tried to take photos of Yi Cheng and Kendrick. xD
YC's camera shy sia...
Congrats to YC n K for winning Champion btw. =D
Apparently their playfield is SRG those kind...
Then their robots are fully manual (ie. respond to sound and light from user), though semi-/auto also can...
Hahaha, another case of manual human mundane work pawning auto. =.=

Damndamn sleepy.

Anyway during the buffet, K was saying that he only dare to say 3 words in front of audience >1K: parade commandments. Then I said that there were more than that LOL..

Went with Cheng Yu and Ser Ming to IT fair 2009 at Suntec City today....

After reaching there, on our way to Yoshinoya, we saw a piece of glass from a shop breaking.
At first we thought what happened, everybody was standing away from that glass, and I thought that it was frosted glass. =X
In fact the glass had alr started to break, and even protruding out.
Then everybody was taking photos, inc us LOL. xP
Damn scary and excited what would happen if the glass indeed break.

My legs are freaking tired now. =X

Then while we were at the fair, there's this booth with a guy programming NXT, to attract attention. =.=
Guess what, he used the micromouse playfield, and didn't use the clips to secure the pieces together. Smart.
So I decided to kajiao him a little, like what he used to program, then he just said, "ermerm... LEGO Mindstorms".
He's "super pro" sia, try turning light tracking on a vv small area.
3 servos: one for each side and one for "steering wheel".

Anyway, I love this year's souvenir for taking part in NIC competitions.

So after the presentation we all went to eeaaatttt the buffet.
Yum =) though thr wasn't any eclairs and desserts this year zzz X.X

Then before we left NUS after buffet, dear dear Jan Lin made us "stay back" to hear his explanation of answers, ended up taking 45 mins or so, but everyone was just zzz.

After that left NUS yea..

Sighs, I supposed Mr Lee's gonna be disappointed at this year's results. =X
Only one medal. =/

Anyway... we tried our best, that's what that's impt =)

Wow, presentation at Sci Ctr sia..
Apparently our teachers were not used to Sci Ctr way of delaying presentations eh.. =X

So lagg there for 40 mins -quarantined-.
No power points, no rehearsal. =X
And everything's kind of last min work...
Then it was RV's session with "team coordinators", saw some familiar faces, the one for Raff's team, and one/two more...
Crap abt everything, packet lunch to LEGO in the motor compartment.
Then when they asked how long we took part in NJRC, JK's answer was longer than the amount of time they've been helping in NJRC LOL. 6 years HAAHAHA.

Went to some room at lv 1, heard that the Mindstorms room is under renovation aha.

Now at the location where FLL Singapore 2007 was held. Rmb that place? =P

Met up with the rest at Clementi MRT station at 11, then went with Adriel, Ci En and Li Zhen to NUS canteen while the rest went to Subway downstairs...

After that walked to NOI venue, couldn't find SR3 at first, in fact it is inside the big hall (the "holding room" during FLL SG 07).
Gotten our bags then entered SR3, waiting for the briefing to start.

Went for bball with Zhi Jie, Cheng Yu, Ser Ming and Edmund today.
Then JK, Sylvia and Ying Ho joined us.

Played for a few rounds then sian liao...morning sun WOOHOO! =.=
Then i tried jumping on the spot for 5 mins, but made it for only 2 haha.
SM, JK and me went to the chin-up bar and the exercise corner to play LOL.
JK's balancing skills imba sia HAHAHA.
After that we took turns to run, but i didn't join them cse back pain ahh...

Left the court quite early though, after we stoned there for dunno how long...
Went to JP, walked around Popular and thinking that teacher's notes are infact rather enough...too detailed on certain occasions though LOL.
Then went to Kopitiam to eat lunch then while the rest go home I just rotted at Harris for half-hour reading a book on Pedra Branca...
Damn random haha..

The past 2 weeks were horrible... Tests tests and more tests.
Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Chinese...
And i don't even have hope in any one of them.

It was Geography test today.
One of the worst ever.
The questions are the same, and yet i can't answer it at all.
It's gone. over.
Screwed.

Yet it isn't the end to everythinggg.
Maths test next Monday.
LA essay test next Friday.

Probably we'll receive our Chem test back tmr.
The worst ever.
I'm really really freakkked out. =(

Today was funnnn AHA! =D

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE! =D

Bigggg thank you to everybody for ur chocolates/sweets/everything! HAHA! =D

Went for NOI training in the morning.
Didn't did/listen much C though, instead Cheng Yu, Liang Hui, Edwin n I were feasting on chocs to keep ourselves awake LOL.

Then cy n i went to vivo and waited for Jun Kang, Melissa, Ser Ming, Sylvia, Yun Fei and Edmund.
While waiting, cy n i found this shop that sells really cheap music/movie discs.
Heard fr cy that some Jay Chou discs were around half-priced. Wow.
Couldn't rmb the name of the shop liao. =/
After that the grp of them reach vivo le n then we went to BK to eat.
Whoa, cy's a fat cat ahaha, cse when cy places his elbow on one side of the table it looks as though the table's going to flip soon, with one leg off the ground le. =.=

After that we toook 166 down to clementi kbox.
Once we reach the kbox the queue was quite long.
Then one moment th staff told us that we'd have to wait for 10 mins, and then 5 mins later they said we'd have to wait till 5 plus (at that moment it was ~3.15 pm). WTH luh, spoiled our moods and our -evil- plans.

No choice luh so went back to JP arcade.
Hmm camp-ed at the arcade, played daytona, bball, and the whack-the-buttons game HAAH.
Stayed till 5 plus, then cy n sm went to see jj lin while the rest of us left jp.

AHAHAHA the sec 1s are in! =D
Wow, 10 girls and 4 guys this year LOL.

Started off with some slacking in the Com Lab 1, but me n Adriel were bored and we decided to go 3H classroom and see the excos session with th juniors aha.
Mini-round of whacko LOL. And two Nicole-s in th sec 1 batch.
I could still rmb that we had two Sheng Da-s in RVCC last time. =P

After that we were grouped for station games.
My grp G consist of Ci En (leader), Li Qi, Shao Ju (hmm i think so), n ~~Harry~~ Yu Heng.
Then went arnd with grp H also, led by Melissa haha.

First station was screwed man.
The soap that black ppl use.
(Note how I'm trying to avoid the ba____ word HAHA.)
Now my hands stink, esp after the forfeit cse we lost, then we tio the soapish soln on our hands. =.=
Kind of scammed th first station though, cse when we were supposed to transport the water using bottle caps we just took th entire water container ROFL.
Same goes to the other stations HAHAHA! The ball of string, charade, edmund and his cloth, n lastly the shoe + untying of knots while blindfolded.
Courtesy to Yu Heng though AHAHAHA. =P
Nvm, it was reallyyyy fun can AHAHAHA. =D

Wow it's February...

One month since school started, and as a class of 4Dots'09.
One more month that I've distanced away from the members of 2^oC'07, and suddenly I wished that I was in the same class as them, and for a class gathering with people do attending.
Three weeks since FLL ended, and it just seems so ytd, with th three Research ppt judges sitting in front of us.

One month to SAFMC, and things are coming into pieces and yet breaking apart.

Time flies, and we are one month closer to leaving RVCC since the start of the year sighs.

Ahh finallyyy a bball session since the FLL period.

RVCC-BB! LOL =D

It was quite fun, and we played for a while until a 19+ yr old stranger wanted to join us. Some, JK, Edmund and Cheng Yu played against him, Sylvia and Yun Fei.
Tio thrashed by them siah. He's reflexes were damn fast can, aiming also very very zhun3, missed only a few times. =.=
He's quite friendly to Cheng Yu too ROFL, and they're like always ~~smiling~~ grinning at each other HAHAHA. =D
They look kind of alike when grinning HAHA. =)
Also, apparently Cheng Yu looks like HAMTARO according to that guy AHAHAHA. =P

Then we went for lunch at nearby KFC and walked to JK's hse.
Sylvia, Yun Fei and Edmund were busy cleaning JK's room LOL.
Heard that they found things dating back to 1997 AHAHAHA! JK more pro than me sia LOL!
After which Melissa then came and joined in the packing LOL, while JK, Cheng Yu and I were doing SAFMC sighs.

Today was a nice day, no lessons in th morning (means 2 hr break xD) and the outing in the afternoon.

CNY celebrations was rather fun.
Li Zhen went up on stage and sang a CNY song aha. =D
Thn during th showing of video made by the SCs, they mis-spelled "Infocomm Club" as "InfoCom Club". WTH! Can they just not assume next time? =/

After school went to Com Lab 1 and met up with th rest.
Waited for Ser Ming while he finishes up his article reviews. =.=

In whole the "gang" comprises of Jun Kang, Melissa, Zhi Jie, Mei En, Ying Ho, Ser Ming, Ci En, Yun Fei, Edmund and me! =D

Thn we went to Harbourfront MRT n changed into our "glam" clothes ROFL. AHAHAHA!
Off to Plaza Singapura! =D

Reached thr at 1.30 plus and thn decided to watch th movie Inkheart, at 2.05.
Since thr was time thn we went to grab sth to eat...

Inkheart is adapted fr a book, and it's quite interesting. =D
(Zhi Jie, Edmund and me went to chk and found out that thr are 2 other bks: Inkspell and Inkdeath)

It's kind of the usual happy-ever-after ending that you wished for in real life, yet it never just seems to happen that way.
But overall the movie is rather nice AHAHA. =)

After that we went to arcade and played a little daytona and bball.
Couple bball ROFLMAO!
Ser Ming and Zhi Jie first broke th bball record on one of the machines (411).
Then me and Zhi jie broke another record on another machine (382) AHAHA!

Firstly, it seems like th school missed Infocomm Club again.

I guess this had been totally screwed since the start of the day, 12 am onwards.

It was my fault for not planning well, and ppt wasn't even completed by 8 am.

Then Ser Ming was alr at NLB when we reached LOL... Then Mei En came after the ppts and runs were all over le HAHA. =P

Firstly we had Round 1, which the robot wasn't quite used to NLB yet...

Then it was Technical Ppt at 10 am, and I then realised that robo is my forte after all.
It seemed soo natural to be able to crap about robo.
Ended up ppt + Q&A lasted for 15 mins plus...
Perhaps I shouldn't be doing research at all, and let others join...

After which we found out tt our Research Ppt is at noon, not 4 pm, and thr's only less than 2 hrs to do script. GAWRRRRR.

Round 2: It was quite well done, considering the difficulties of th mission this time round. =D

It was a flop. Totally flop.
Three judges, one fr NJRC (entrepreneur judge), one fr NEA, and another one tt looks familiar fr NJRC too.
Started off really good, since we did manage to captivate their attention, with the NEA guy going to send an email about somebody's office and home aircon temp AHA.

Then it plummeted. Real screwed.

We had strayed off the point about Climate Connections, and the NJRC judge had more expectation of us instead (RVHS students =X). And how we have to focus well on topic for further PWs. Then thr was the "wht was ur teacher doing when ur strayed off the point" kind of qns.
It sucks.
Everything was screwed.
And the NEA judge said some of our info was inaccurate (esp when we are in the "Science stream"). Like WTFH, some of which were true alright?! And you didn't even explain which info were wrong yarr?
Th 3rd judge didn't say anything...wonder if it's a good or a bad thing.
Perhaps it's bad after all. =(

It ended after 20 mins in the room, perhaps they were giving us more time to present innovative soln yeah? But we did not.
12.21 pm. Came out of the room. Dead and drained.

Guess wht ended up after 2 months of long hard work was just gone. And it was screwed.
Sorry for screwing up the ppt, and ended up somewhat wasting ur time.
It could have been better. Much better.

Yeah, I understand that this year mission is tough, so I don't blame ur for the perf, since I would have done worst if i was doing robo...

Until GOH came at 6 plus, and watched Jedi Black and White do a demo run. Full points for both team. =)
Everyone got a gold medal YAY YAY! Since everyone was a winner. =D
It was fun, doing hi-5s to the judges and volunteers.
Then whn thr was traffic jam near the medal ppt thr...
And I was standing in front of the NJRC judge. =X
Awful mixed feelings.
The hi-5s kind of elevated my feelings a little...but not for long... =X

We were supposed to meet up at JE MRT station today at 12.30, which dragged on to wait for some ppl LOL.

Then me, CY, JK, Mel, YF and Justin went to Bugis to have lunch first.

Sighhss, Cheng Yu and all his "cold" jokes... zzz.

After that we went to NLB Lv 11 and then saw Syl n Shu Yinn.

Why can't NLB just digitalise all their books?
Then we could just copy and paste the info GRRHHH.
Ended up copying all of the values we need into JK's com.
Numbers, numbers and more numbers. It's as though we were reporting the results of the Toto/4D draw ROFLMAO!!

Ended up staying until arnd 6.50pm when we intended to leave at 5.30pm. =X

RAWR! Two months just flew like that...

Classes starting n life's going to get more crazy in year 4.

Was quite anxious (don't ask me why I'm anxious cuz I also dunno). Couldn't sleep last night HAHA!
Maybe it was too 'early' LOL!

In th morning i was supposed to meet Syl, Mel, Ed, Ying Ho and JK at JE today.
But when we reach they alr boarded the bus that just left when I reached thr...

The first few RV-ians tt I recognise were Clive (!), Song Yan, Ying Hao, Cheng Yu and Wei Sheng HAHAHA!

Then we reach sch and Mel passed the hp present to JK. -evil grins-
JK took so long to open Syl's masterpiece of 20 layers of wrapping - using Popular mag!

They were supposed to meet Mr Teo.
Then their talk was freakishingly long....

After which we took 61 to Bras Brasah.
Headed in str to Popular and we couldn't even decide wht to buy.
Ended up dicussing with Mel, JK and CY on-the-spot.
Finally we left Popular at 5 plus (we came a 3 plus =X) and went to Mac and EAT...
Oh yes, we should nvr ask ppl if they're gay or les HAHAHA (ask CY for details =P).

Then we left the area and took th MRT home, and took photos of *HEM HEM* and *HEM* tgt MUAHAHAHA! xD xD xD!

Ahhh wells, it's srsly freaking me out that the number of days we have left to FLL is only a single-digit.

Christmas gift exchange party

Ahhhs, today is the Christmas gift exchange party hahas. =DD

First I went to Boon Lay Interchange to meet JK, Yun Fei, Ying Hao, Li Zhen, Edmund and Zhi Jie. Apparently I was late grrrh...
Then we took 172 to CCK, then this bus is quite new... SMB 5 Y if I'm not wrong... =P

Then at Lot 1, we met up with Ser Ming, Ming Sheng, Wei Sheng, Krist and Mellu at Mac. Made damn LOADS of noise thr... luckily we weren't in CCA tee or anything tt would recognise us. =/

After tt went to Zone X, while waiting for Laserflair to open...
Played Daytona as usual, joined some others to play the 7 keys music game hahas. Then I was standing in btw HEM and HEM HEM LOLS. Felt kind of weird AHAHAS!!!
Before we left, saw this imba guy playing DDR2.
He was sweating as if you just ran 2.4 km. Now I get wht they meant by "Calories burned" when we played it some time ago... =O

Went to Laserflair to rent the discs... Rented sth like "Ghost Game", some Thai movie along the likes of "Survivor - Eerie Edition", and "Rule #1", a HK police ghost movie.
Then we went on to Melissa's hse, kept talking about flyovers VS. bridge and LIMBANG!!! HAHAS.

Started watching Ghost Game first, the probably little scary part was the beginning, but at the end when you see how the bodies are laid it looks comical.
In the middle of the show Raff and I went to scare the girls by screaming, found out that Yun Fei has lagg time, then she also shout for no reason...
Should have changed place with HEM HEM when HEM was scratching me like siao4... =X
Then we ordered pizza during "movie break" HAHAS.

After that we went to play a round of 99. I was the 2nd person out. Hmph so fast...
Then quite funny luh, combo kills at 99 HAHAS!
Played indian poker, ended up doing forfeit (nose touch for 5s) with Ci En and Ming Sheng.
2nd round, it was Li Zhen, SM and Wei Sheng who ended up with forfeit. But pizza came then we went to eat and everybody forget le...until now HAHAS.
Btw, THANKS Melissa and her mum for treating us to pizza! =DD

After pizza, we started watching the "Rule #1".
The plot was quite confusing at the end sighs.
Lesson learnt: do not touch anybody, even in the middle of the day HAHAS =P

Seriously I don't know what I'm going to become when FLL ends.

Everytime we participate a competition, however big or small, it's like going to a world war.
It drains the heck out of you, mentally and physically.
Not to add on the exposure that we get to have every yr.
It freaks people out.
Why can't >WE have a break? A real break.
That FLL have to be held when school starts freaks me out totally, more than a ghost movie.
Though you may say "one must learn to lose gracefully", I srsly can't afford to lose FLL research this yr, after all that Mel and Cheng Yu had done for Gamma De.

It's the burden of carrying expectations of EVERYONE. GRRR!

Haha.. 100th post, after a long hiatus since 10 Sep 2007.

Backtracking to the last major events last yr: RVCC Chalet and FLL!

Sighs, I couldn't rmb anything about the chalet le... =X

FLL was fun!

Our team, Gamma De, managed to acheive the 3rd in Best Robot Performance (although awards only given to the top in each category).

Rawr, I could have gotten full points and not let Jun Kang's team win the Best Robot Performance tt easily. Damn, accidentally shifted the "P-90" jig while the robot is exiting base, causing it to go off-course. =(

Well, take it as a good experience since it was very fun! (And FLL judges are, say, lenient too! xP) -> Hopefully none of the FLL Singapore officials hear that! =P

And that's the end of 2007! =P

As for 2008, thr's only one phrase to describe: a tangent graph -- full of ups and downs, like a rollercoaster ride.

First I got sorted into 3D, tgt with Shu Wei, Zheng Xiao, Shu Yinn, Jeffry and Grace. Then the name 3Dots was suggested during a class meeting to decide the class name and it got stuck with it for the year. Everybody was super high. The form teachers were Mrs Audrea Khoo (who teaches Maths too), and Mdm Chia (later replaced with Mrs Marie Wong).

Changed teachers several times, tgt with fluctuating results. =X

I managed to get an A1 for term 1 Product Review *claps*, total credit to Mdm Chia Ai Ling! Unfortunately she had to go for maternity leave and then transferred to MOE HQ... Why must MOE HQ leech all our good teachers away?! Well as expected, my LA score dropped drastically to my kindda usual std when she left.

(She was replaced by some weird teacher that just sits thr and clicks slides. =.= Then she was replaced again by Mrs Marie Wong, who manages to teach some crap out, at the very least.)

Same goes to SS for the entire yr. Had diff teachers during Sem 1 and had Mr Eugene Lai as our SS teacher from Sem 2 onwards. Aha, he's strict yet interesting! (He seems to be "hotter" than us all the time! xD)

Chinese is Mdm Guo, Geography is Ms Tan...

Chemistry teacher was replaced once to Mdm Ong Hwee Hien! She's such a fantastic Chem teacher! =)

Gosh, our Physics teacher was Ms Tan Hui Zhen...oops, i mean Mrs Yuen. =D Had some weird case study (courtesy of Zhu Shenjie as the subject) that if you pay attentn in class, you'd screw up, and vice versa. =.=

Maths was pretty fun with Mrs Khoo. Unfortunately she had been transferred to MOE HQ too at the end of this school term.

There was this human-angel game AHA! Gotten Jia Li and Ho Ching for the first and second time respectively and my "angel" was Mu Wei and Jia De for the first and second time respectively. Quite screwed though, ended up buying banana as a last minute present.

Well, that's basically all in terms of academics...

RVCC!

Managed to participate in a C competition, National Olympiad in Informatics, but didn't win anything. The fun thing was exceptionally nice buffet. (YAY! Ming Sheng don't be jealous. =P)

Then had several buffer competitions prior to NJRC...

National Robopreneur Carnival - marks the official transit for RVCC to NXT. Ended up screwing the competition - somewhat like micromouse but you get to hardcode the robot's movements - since we were still raw with the NXT. Totally pawnage by our RCX competitors, however, it's a matter of time we had to change to NXT, and screw a competition up...

Participated in YDSP Computer Security course, before I had to signed a few indemity forms and Memorandums of Understanding.

Then me, Zhi Jie and Ying Hao was supposed to join NSC LEGO Challenge. Apparently we didn't know when the prelims were held and missed it.

So wham, kind EX-COs let us join Hua Yi Sec Sch's RoboChampion, a competition to "prepare W3 cluster schools for NJRC", since some teams from other schools withdrawed. Two teams of 3 from different schools are supposed to work tgt to completed two missinons. Worked with Zhenghua Sec Sch, whose senior (not part of team) came everyday during the preparation sessions, and the team members only came on the competition day itself. We did Mission 1, and they did 2. We were rather ok (but slow) in Mission 1, but they utterly screwed M2. Thus we went over to help them (by a lot), and though our robot perf sucks, we won the Best Teamwork Award. Scammed. =.=

Ahhh time for NJRC. I was grouped tgt with Cheng Yu, Li Zhen and Yun Fei, and the team was called Hermes (and no, it's not herpes). We partnered with SG Envir Council to sell their items and earned fr teachers by quite a sum. =DD Unfortunately due to poor planning of me most of the profits was used to recoup the losses in hotdogs selling on the NJRC day. Sorry. =( The research ppt was centred arnd the idea of a PM's National Day Rally Speech, which was quite a nice idea suggested by either CY or YF. Robot ppt was utterly screwed, kudos to me again. Seemed to be over-reliant on the ppt and made the judges feel that we don't understand our robot well enough. Funny thing is that some other RV teams managed to win some robot ppt awards although the robot model is about the same. =X Screwed up again.... sorry ppl. =( Robot mission was all well for Mission 1 with full points and rather fast timing, until Mission 2 (surprise mission) when everybody changed to "land bot", thanks to our dear **, n got an egg. I was damn sad that I didn't get into finals, for failing the team, and what made me worse was that other teams who didn't score full marks for Mission 1 but scored sth for Mission 2 managed to enter finals instead. WTH! Luckily during the prelims YF and CY managed to crap to judges that we've alr finished selling our hotdogs and SEC books, and also explaining the use of NEA panels (thanks Joe!), and scammed that we earned quite a lot. The judges believed it and we gotten a 3rd in Entrepreneurship. *Stunned* The last time I gotten a medal/trophy was in Pri 1, for some crappy Sports Day Boys' Relay 3rd. Zhi Jie's team won Championship WOOHOO!!!! 3 CHEERS FOR RV! We own Fuhua!!! =DD Ahh, a nice ending to NJRC! =)

After NJRC then I received a new Acer Aspire One AOA150 laptop, thanks to SingNet Broadband. Then went to use it for creating a 3D class video and lost it in sch after 1 mth and 5 days. WTF!! FREAK!! Until now still can't find it. It could already be in the incinerator now... ='( Just when I lost my laptop, my external HDD crashed. What in the world is going wrong for me?!

Participated in Ntl StrITwise Challenge then, and it was BULLSHIT. RoboCode was screwed up (it's a long story about integrity and plagarism - was eliminated in the first round), RoboDesign we had toilet paper soldier =DD, then don't know about the quiz. Too bad there wasn't any StrITwise Quiz Lucky Draw this year. Thank goodness the RVCC's attendance was very high - A LOT of people came, everyone's morale was boosted. =DD It seemed that I had joined the group wrongly again for StrITwise, since the other 2 groups won sth, again. Maybe if I hadn't join StrITwise, certain things may not have occur...

Then it's club chalet!! 9 to 11 December of morale-boosting fun! It was damn fun, with KBox and WWW. This time the chalet is at third floor, number 2322. Sorry everyone for making your climb so high... =( Mahjong, cards, 99, "murderer" and the usual games. I went for night cycling this year (during 1st night) and I managed to learn how to cycle (fast only) in the first time that I've ever cycled, and didn't crashed. AHA WOOHOO!!! =DD Ended up spending $75.90 during the three days. *GAWPS* After chalet ended, we toured around JP2 and ate at KFC (JP1). Then we went to play bball near Sylvia's house and Ser Ming fell down and fainted. Everybody was damn scared lah, but luckily we had our medic Wei Jie. =DD Apparently a few days after chalet we went back to same place to play bball and a lot of people kenna tripped (by Wei Sheng uhh? xD). Sighs. That place is screwed LOLS! =X

Now time for FLL 2008, that's gonna be held next yr. This time I'm in research with Justin (JK and Wei Sheng in-charge of robo), with the absolute wonderful help of Cheng Yu and Melissa (though they aren't technically in the team since there wasn't anymore slots). Hopefully you two see this: THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!!! =DD

Gonna pray damn hard that I won't screw up FLL, for it wouldn't be just a disappointment for the team but for Cheng Yu and Melissa who placed their utmost effort in doing the best research too.

and yes. njrc is seriosly screwd up.
and teachers dont ever care what we went through during the holidays.

Some of them were quite AP lor...
But no matter what all of them would in the end be influenced by Jeffry....

For orientation we had Wacko..
Yu Heng became the unofficial "your mom"....

And the main targets were basically Lee Shengda, Lee Shengda, Yi Sheng and pple like Jeffry lo....
And I think the Yr 1s were stunned when they heard Com Club got two pple by the name of Lee Shengda.... *hahahass*

Fire Drill & Big 5 Personality Test

Today RV did a fire drill kinda thingy...
Quite okay -- in comparison to last yr's fire drill...
It was held at abt 7.45, when the sun isn't sooo hot, which was good, unlike last year which was underthe hot sweltering sun... =]
Then lessons again...
After break got Assembly but in the end stay in clsrm and Ms Ong and that b*tch came in for 2 hours plus...
And that b*tch kept criticising our poster on School Values, etc...
And now I knew that the b*tch's Chinese name is Wei Qi... Whoa.... Disgrace to that name....
Anyone who get her for LA would improve tremendously at English only if they could stand her shriek....
And anyone who got her as a examiner marking their LA paper would surely kenna get screwd... =XX
So yea, then during PDP we nid the Big 5 thingy which I did ytd...

RV 51st Birthday

Great.. A year had passed and its another celebration for RV...
The beginning part was *boring*...
Imagine hearing a few speakers repeating the same content in 2 different lanuguages...

*sigh*

Then we get to eat in the hall for the 2nd time...
It was chilli bee-hoon this time with a small piece of pizza and spring roll with a packet of Green Tea....
The food was delicious yehh and all my chilli went to Yan Shan... Hahahaz...
After that SCs danced for us and Zi Xiang looked soooo cute... Kawaii!!~

After that was normal lessons again... But we managed to skipped Tamil... =]
But however there's still Maths...
Let not crap too much abt that... >.~

Then after that was CCA...
Oh crap...
Seriously it was the worst rvCC Session of all...

1st day of curriculum

Oh yes, it's finally the start of the official curriculum that many hoped it would arrive faster which means there would be no more ASKing of trcs to sTfU...

Ok, there's this cool Language Arts trc by the name of Mr Wayne Wong which cuts us alot of slack and is wayyy cooler than *hem hem*...
Then Geography was Ms Or... Then we heard from her that Edulearn is closing... *woots*
Instead we will have another spamming place called IVLE (Integrated Virtual Learning Enviornment, is it??)...
After which HCL was 陈老师 again.. Although the word "again" was used, she still wayy better than the f***ing relief Maths (wait.. that b*st*rd Maths trc said it was Math)....
Oh great, maybe we have had too many gd trcs this time round -- maybe it was bcuz we got some screwwy trcs last yr (with a few exceptions.. of course...) and also to even off the level??
So, for the month of January, there will be a b*st*rd trc replacing Mrs Chak who god knows what reason yehh and that b*st*rd's voice is bloody, f***y high-pitch...

After that we started to eat sushi and more sushi...

Yeh, the sushis there are very fresh.... =]
Then before we left we made use of some plastic "grass" and two orange seeds and orange peel to breate a smilee face.... ^_^

Then we finally finished eating then we left at abt 1937 then the queue at the counter soo long that we have to wait for abt 8 mins jz to pay them....
WTF....

Then went to roam around -- mostly was spent stone-ing at BK waiting for my mum.... ~.~
Finally we went home.... X)
Yeah then got a birthday-cum-cheese cake for me.... (:

rvCC Chalet (:

Just came back from chalet....

The chalet was totally fun!!!!! (: It rocks!!!!!!! (:
At first left home at 1145 then meet Melissa and Raffles at JE MRT at 1215...
After that at 1310 we finally reach Pasir Ris and then went to WhiteSands to eat Mac...
Then we met Shu Yinn there too...
After we ate finish we went to wait for the rest of the group... Then when they all come liao then we go to chalet....
Then we reached the chalet 2211 at about 1450... It was quite big but then there are only two rooms which the girls booked one room and the other room for the seniors... That meant that the juniors will be sleeping outside... Grrrr....
After that we watched a few playing PS2, played daidee and also idiot... =]
Then we went for BBQ and it was very sianz...
Only managed to eat a few sotong balls and marshmallows....
But in the end some of us went to BK to eat and when we came back the seniors were not happy with us cse we went out to eat and not eat the barbequed stuffs and also bcuz of the soccer ball hitting some lady accident...
After that some of us went to play idiot and then at around 12 midnight all of us watch Silent Hill brought by the seniors....
It was quite boring and confusing though, as there was apparently no story...
And Kwan Ki was saying that there is gore and violence that's at least NC16 but it wasn't freaky at all -- even my 7-year-old sis can watch it luh... The violence part was when the sucker monster ripped the clothes of a female then tore her body up instantly... Do you call that gore??
Uh okayz, the only main part where it was at least NC16 was the use of foul language luh, where we were all laughing at every f-word that the characters spoken...
Anyways, Silent Hill wasn't even scary at all... It's more like a comedy, about the same as Death Note which wasn't even scary at all...
Then finally it ended at around 0215...
After that at 3 plus we went to Downtown East to buy some food from Mac, and for goodness sake the Mac service at Downtown East is exceptionally slow....
Anyway, who cares about the rule that we are not allowed to be seen in public after 11pm??
In the end we went back chalet at abt 4am...
Then saw people playing daidee, mahjong and stuffs like that...
And then the seniors taught us to play mahjong and we started joining in....
And yeah, most of us didn't sleep for the whole night...

Then the next morning at around 1030 Raffles, Melissa, Song Yan, Jia Li, Venus, Adriel and me went to Escape to play... It cost only 6 dollars cse of its anniversary or sth liddat....
After that we went to play Pirate Ship... Oh goodness, it was freaking scary luh, especially the part when the ship is coming down as you would feel your whole heart being pulled out.....
Then we went to play Rainbow... It was much better as it didn't spin too hard and the view when you are at the top is fantastic... =]
After that we went to Wet and Wild... Played twice, first time was with Raffles while I was sitting in front and the other time was with Venus while I was sitting backwards...
Then it seems like the wave is biaous to girls... When the rest of the girls ride the first slide during the first time, they only gotten a little bit wet during the first time but when Raffles and I wentta ride, we were alr quite wet.... *dots....*
After that when I was behind I was soaked and drenched... It was soooo wet and you could even squeeze the water out....
Then the photos that the camera took were 1115 and 1151 respectively luh...
But the queue is very long... It took around half an hour for every ride.... *stunned*
So then we left at around 1241 although we havent use finish the tickets for the carnival and snacks cse some of us were soaking....
Then Raffles and I went to BK for take-away.... Apparently there wasn't much to eat back in the chalet....
At night we played waterbomb fight... It was soooo fun!!!!!! Waterbomb is FUN!!!!! Although we get splashed by bags of water (it's true, u get plastic bags of water on ur head), it was still sooooo fun!!!! Getting poured from head down is soo freaking fun!!! Imagine getting splashed suddenly but someone with a plastic bag of water.... But then, it seems like the water there stinks... Either that or the plastic bag that they splashed us up in is dirty.... Waterbomb rocks!!! Can we get a few more packs next time?? =D It's a pity that Jan Lin came and left on the first day, losing another target for waterbomb....
Then some of us bathed then went out for dinner, most of the people with us went for steamboat which cost $15 then the rest of us (me, Ser Ming, Raffles, Jia Hao) went to food court to eat lo... We weren't as rich as them... LOL.....
After that in the night the whole chalet got short-circuited quite a few times, abt 5 times in total... Then that guy guessed maybe it was the aircon from our room so we had to sleep without aircon...
Finally I was able to sleep at 2245 and I was sleeping on the bed... =]

At the last day (today) woke up at 0735 and alot of people are still sleeping, except for some seniors....
Then we left the chalet at 0947 and then after that went to Zhi Xin's hse...
After that we reached at 12 nn and then we only watched The Sixth Sense halfway only cse its resolution was very poor...
Then went to play Uno-Attack then after a while more people came...
After that some of us used the comp to watch Miss Swan on YouTube...
She was sooo funny lar.... And lame too....
And it seems like Grace hates Yi Sheng freaking much...
During the chalet she kept applying stuffs onto Yi Sheng's hand and even applied nail polish for Yi Sheng when he was sleeping... *evil*

We had CIP ytd at the library from 8.30 to 4.30...
Erm, nono.. It isn't CIP, it is juz some crappy "seminar" about "iN2015" and "School of the Future"...
Then started discussing about crappy stuffs every 10-20 mins like SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats), things that changed from 1980s to 1990s to 2000s (erm.. how do we do dis? we weren't even here in 1980s....), the hi-tech part of Microsoft's School of the Future, and what we hope to have if RV is selected by MOE to be the School of the Future...
Seriously sometimes the ideas for School of the Future is quite noob but who knows what may happen in the future??
And yeah, Jeffry suggested something like Toilet Music, where people could Wi-Fi or Bluetooth their choice of song to the RV-DJs (by students) and the DJs will play it in the toilet.... -.-'''''
Anyway, in the debriefing session b4 we left, the teacher wanted us to say out what we feel and the only thing I learnt is that "Teachers are better snackers then us".... =]
Well, its true cse everytime I glance around at the teachers' tables, I would see cookies, chocolates, snacks and more.... ;P

And it's Dec 1 today, which means it's much closer to the chalet and *** now!!!

Reached Bukit Batok MRT Station 5 mins earlier and then waited for Raffles and the other girls...
The girls were proved Raffles right again - they were late.... Hahas...
After that we took 61 to Ngee Ann and when we were at the bus-stop in front of Ngee Ann we saw Edmund - alighting his father's car... =X
Then we went in, turn here and there then finally reached the Convention Ctr after Raffles ask the security guard for directions... Once there we went to our ~~booth~~ table with 2 chairs and a board with the label "Team 46 RVHS2"... Why must Mr Suria name ask with RVHS1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 and ask us to think of a grp name???
Apparently this caused some problems in the later part of the competition....

Then we started the glueing the model of FinalSurvivor... It was sooo cute.... except for the hand which was chopped no thanks to Jeffry....

Then apparently one of the girls went to cover the body of an insect with UHU glue and then placed it on the cardboard....

Then the randomising started... The first 2 times that they tried randomising was that all 3 RV teams were in different Stations... And yet the f***ing chairman pressed the randomise button all three of RV teams were tgt.... OMFG!!!!!! We'll soon gona cast each other out........

And yes, I was proved right.... Lost to another sch in the same station 1-6 and to NightNinja (from RVHS3) 1-6 and to Phobe (from RVHS1) 0-7... But we still had one win thanks to a walkover by another school for not being present..... =]
However we didn't made it to the next round but to the 'Loser's round'.... But congrats to the rest of the team for making it to the next round....
The next round I tested my jacket (history has it that when Liang Hui wears a jacket he wouldnt get screwd up sooo badly) and I won!!!!!! 7-0!!!! Then played with another school and it was 7-0 again!!!!! And then we played again and it was 5-2.... =)
Then it was the semis and I was soooooo cock-eyed that I mistook RVHS2 for RVHS3 and I thought we lost le but it was RVHS3 who lost... But then I suddenly rmb when I was inside the Lv 2 Finals and rushed down and saw that we were kicked-out.... Till now I dont even know if we were walkover-ed or lost... But most probably lose to SJI (i think) cse in Round 2 the opponent wasnt here but we still played....
I'm very very very sorry leh.....
But we still made it to the semis - which was qute good.... =)
Then at the prize-ppt ceremony, RVHS3 got overall 6th and won a Logitech webcam and RVHS1 won sth (i forgot what was the prize le) and Lih Wei won a $100 postal order for the StrITwise quiz and Melissa won a 1GB thumbdrive for the robodesign voting and Song Yan and I won a $40 postal order each for the StrITwise quiz....
So yea, Lih Wei and Song Yan, if it wasnt bcuz of my extra copy your wouldnt have been soo lucky.... Heehee.... Just kidding la..... =]
Anyway, I gott apologise to Jia Li and Grace cse they didnt win anything and that if I nvr screwd up the robocode RVHS2 might got some prizes....
And oh yea, I'm sorry for not helping in the robodesign.....

Went to VIVO for lunch then we guys went to BK and eat and Leroy saw pple giving out BK crowns and we dared him to take some la...
And in the end he came back with 11... You shud have seen the expression on the woman who gave Leroy the hats.... OMFG!!!!!
So yea, we went to look for the girls at LJS and made everybody wear the hat... =X
It was sooo comical.... and we were all in front of BK crapping abt the hat and whether to wear it or not....
In the end it was like a freaking whole bunch of mad RVians wearing some crowns for children....
Then we went to take a grp photo and on the bus it was soooo comical... pple wearing crowns....

Went to JEC to play LAN with Kai Xin, Caspar, Chee Siong, Yi Jun, Kelvin, Yan Shan, Choon Pin, Germaine and Shu Wei... Played for about 2 hrs la...

Then after that went to KFC to eat then go to Zone-X...

Kai Xin was treating us la and we played Daytona, the basketball thingy and a few others la...
We simply forgot abt ice-skating cse when we were on the way to KFC, we didn't see any 1C de, or somehow....
Daytona rocks la but then i was owned... always got last in evry match.... >.<

At first was CCA la... Don't even know what to do cse somehow our bot can le except when competing with sample.Walls our robot screwd up by losing 46-4.... But didn't do any changes la cse I don't even know what to edit about... *sighss*
Now the only problem lies in the fact that hopefully the judges would not think that we plagarised else we would be disqualified -- and place the team's effort down to drain.... *.*
Then today was also Mr Soh's bday but he went to Nan Hua le and so we were dismissed earlier... =]

Just now was CCA and it was totally boring...
What a great way to kick off our holidays...

Before CCA started we waited outside of Com Lab 1 and heard it had short-circuited already...
Then Daphne came and the power was back and when Yi Sheng tried to adjust the PC monitor which he had been using, the whole lab got screwd again... LOLS!!!

So then we went to Lab 2 and started rotting there...
Imagine being asked to program something in another language and yet dont even know the language.... dotx..

How I envy Jia Hao, Raffles, Edmund and Malcom... They were sitting there slacking chit-chatting and trying to torture me... :S

Finally lunch break den we guys went to vivo to eat...
Then when we wanna go back school it rained and we got caught in the rain so that can go back later... After we reached the busstop then we saw the MRT exit which we could have walked under the shelter.... *duh*

Then started on Java again...

One fine Sunday afternoon at about 3.30pm, a maid brought her owner's dog down to the upper-most level of the carpark (in that particular place, the HDB flats are right above the carpark).

Then slowly, the maid brought the dog very close to one of the car's tyre.

Suddenly when the dog was about to do its 'business', the car alarm went off for a sec even though it did not touch the car.

Instantly, the dog and the maid sprang up and the maid quickly guided the dog away to another spot far away from that car for fear that the car owner might come down and look at them.

All this were spotted by the owner of the car, his wife and his 2 children, who were just looking down from 11 storeys high at that very particular moment, in hope that the dog would suffer from bladder disorder.

This was based on a true story on the date it was published and it was posted by someone who witnessed it first hand.

last day of school

Time flies and a year is soon going to pass...

During assembly they announced the winner for the Learning Festival Best Booth Design Award and we got 1st... YAYAY!! 2 Firsts in 2 Days!! LOLS... It seems like we couldn't really excel too much in academic but not for such stuffs... LOLZ...

During IRP we were in class as Sec 4s are taking their 'O's so there isn't any IRP... Yay...
So Yu Jun started discussing the class outing but didn't finish it bcuz IRP over le...

Then it was Science and Mr Chen didn't allow any cards... Sighhs.. so strict... T.T
Followed was CID and Mr Faizad was taking us for CID... Oh gosh... xD

Then after CID was break and after break was Maths...
Mrs Chak showed us the Death Note cartoon... YAYAY!!
Then we started watching and realised in 5 days, Light (or "Kira") has written a huge number of criminals' names in the Death Note... Even Ryuk (one of the Shinigami) was surprised to the the list of names Light has written in it... LOLS... And Ryuk's Favourite Food was shown again -- apples... Ryuk is sooo cute... Although he is a Shinigami, he doesn't even look fierce at all, in fact he was very cute.... xD
Sadly Mrs Chak has only one episode and the lesson over le... Sighhss..

Next was 2 hours of facing Mr Faizad... Siannzzz...
Mr Faizad also showed us something but it was "Spellbound", a documentary talking about 8 children's path to the National Spelling Bee 1999 Champion which is in USA...
It was quite boring when they showed the 8 children's background but when the competition "started", alot of us "woke up"... xD
Then we started clapping every time one of the 8 children which they like managed to enter the next round (erm.. the girls...) and we guys started cheering everytime when one of the 8 children got eliminated... LOLX...
And the whole movie lasted for abt 2 hrs (give and take 10mins), which was just the amount of time Mr Faizad had with us...
Finally Mr Faizad wanted us to take a class photo for memory and we agreed since it most probably the last lesson he has with us bcuz he said most likely he's teaching Yr 1s and Sec 4s next year...
Anyway, I shouldn't know if that's good or bad... LOLX... X_X

Then we had HCL and 陈老师 only came in for a while den suddenly left le...
After that Yu Jun made use of the time to discuss the class outing and finally we decided ice-skating... =]
And before ice-skating Kai Xin says he's gonna treat us to LAN Games also at JEC... (:

In the end, all good things have to come to an end... :'(
Hopefully next year would be better than this year and we would be more united and cohesive... ((:

Today was doomsday... Alas, the day that we hoped would not come has arrived... xD But today is also Sports Day but the PE Dept cancelled le bcuz they thought this week would still be very hazy... LOLS...

Just after morning assembly, all Yr 1s were told to go to LT1 straightaway for Ms Ek's "speech"...
Then when Ms Ek started showing us our "class position" in the school and the highest for every subject in every class and also the overall msg...
It was sooooooo disheartening... :'(
1C didn't even get once the best for anything... sighh... =/
Then Ms Ek started a 36MB (96 slides) presentation but luckily for us she skimmed through very fast... Phewww...

Then we have break followed by the dreadful "lesson" -- giving out of report book...
It was not that scary since we already knew around how much we scored based on Ms Ek's "speech" earlier... Just only hope that my parents wouldnt scold... T_T

And then we had Prize-Giving Ceremony in the hall for 3 levels where those who get highest for each subject or the top-10 for the level would get something...
But 1C's presence was not felt... Not even one of us went up... sighhs.... X_X
Then I saw Jia Li going up to stage bcuz she is one of the top-10 in Yr 1... Sooooo goood...
After that was KP... OMG!?!? IS HE REALLY SO PRO!?!? Then found out that it was actually the AMC High Distinction only... xD (for those who do not know him, it best to leave it that way...)
And then after another grp of people was Yi Sheng, our RVCC president, and he got the highest for Chemistry in Sec 3... Oh gosh... Soooo pro!!! Hopefully next time he can coach us Chem... ((:

After that we had our Speech & Drama performance back in LT1....
Luckily our grp dont have to perform instead it was Yu Jun's grp...
So den every class started performing and after everything was the prize-presentation ceremony... All of us really hoped that 1C could get 1st bcuz they really did very well and also get sth for 1C... =]
Then a trainer went up and announced that the 3rd-placing and 2nd-placing goes to 1D and 1E respectively...
Suddenly everybody in the LT was sooo excited wondering who's going to be 1st... Then we heard the trainer saying,
"... In 1st-placing was......." "1C!!!!"
OMGOMG!!~ 1C won!!!!! YAYAY!! ((:
Then Yu Jun, Manfred, Chun Wai, Caspar, Yan Shan went up to receive their prizes and we cheered (okayy, maybe its the girls who were cheering... xD),

Just now Yi Jun, Caspar, Chun Wai, Yan Shan, Choon Pin, Kai Xin, Germaine, Shu Wei, Kelvin, Chee Siong and I went to watch the Death Note at Westmall...
Before that they don't even know that im coming... Lolz... And when i reached at 10.42 dey said im very late le... But there's still Yan Shan...
Then we dont wanna wait le and went to buy popcorns and shared with Yi Jun... Though my parents dont allow... (:
Finally Yan Shan came le at abt 5-7 mins before show started... xD

After some time Death Note started le... It was a little frightening in the beginning and it was *cold* (i mean the aircorn)... It wasn't even scary and it only depicts about pple getting killed thanks to 'Kira' and the Death Note... So yea and they showed the f-word once only at the beginning of the movie... But it was quite nice... =]

Then we went to archade and since just now Yi Jun, Caspar, Yan Shan, and Chun Wai left before the credits ended and the remaining of us left as we thought that there was gg to be some sneak preview etc but there wasnt... So when we reached the archade and found them we tricked them that there was sth like a sneak preview... *evil* And we dont wanna tell them then they liek not happy le... But in the end told them the truth still...
Kai Xin was like sooo rich... Spent at least 30 bucks on the games and in the end when we wanna leave he treat us to the race games.... =] So yea, we hang abt for 1+ hour there... (:
Then we went to Popular so tt Kelvin could get sth and then we separate le bcuz the rest of the guyz (except me :[) wanna go Choon Pin's hse to play but i cannot so left them le...

So that's the end le... Nevertheless Death Note was quite a nice movie except that it should be more scarier (maybe PG13)... LOLS!! xD

arts fest

Today was IU day and Arts Fest and it was quite taxing during the IU thingy... not that there's alot of things to do but we guyz juz couldnt find anything to do...
We tried to help out in the souveneir booth yet wasnt allowed, except for Manfred and Choon Pin...
Then some idiotic ambassador for our class wanted all the guyz to dance bcuz she dunno how to dance thus she can use us guyz as cover up.... What A Smart Move...
But in the end we didn't even care abt anything and left the classroom... Hahazzz.... :P
Then another bunch of idiots told Sir that we sneak out of the classroom and Sir kept looking for us... as though we fled and tried to escape duties (it's actually dancing...)
But I thought we were allowed to view other classes booths???
So why aren't we allowed to get out of the classroom?
Or is it that you weren't allowed bcuz of duties so tried to pull us down????
Why!?!?

Then IU day finally came to and end just before the assembly... No more such boring events... =]
In the hall we were the last class to came down bcuz the judges went to our class last and we also tried to daze around in the classroom... hahas...
The whole assembly was quite nice with perf from peers for the Arts Fest and recognised some frenzs up on stage... And the emcees were crapping cold, lame jokes at every intervals.... *cold* LOLZ...

So after everything was a ppt by Netball Team on some activities and it was sooooo boring... X_X

Then there was some Chinese Story-Telling Competition on 孙悟空 and it was qutie boring... hearing 5-6 grps gg up to stage to crap on the story for 4-5 mins each... *boring*

Well yea that's all and hopefully my parents would allow me to watch Death Note tml at West Mall... ((:

Today we got back our CA2 results and it was quite fine... Didnt fail anything... Congrats to Yi Jun... He got 98% for CA2 Maths... lolz.... zzzzzzz

Then during english and chinese the two teachers gave out our paper one and when it was combined with paper two together i found out that i pass all subjects... YAY! ((:

After sch was CCA and we had to decide on our team names and tank names... It was a nerve-wrecking thingy... Grrrr... But in the end decided on Fated Destiny and FinalSurvivor... Then after tt we opened Robocode and started to place as much tanks as possible to crash the coms... evil////

So yeh.. Luckily StrITwise wasn't like NJRC where we do not to write journals... YAYAY!!! =]

Today started with some crappy talk by some ppl on being healthy... and crapped for around 75 mins...
Its really a miracle that people could even crap for soo long without resting... xD

After the boring talk was soccer!! Yipee!!! =] Then we waited until 1A, 1B, and 1F finished playing... And 1E was quite pro seh... Imagine them all not wearing PE... Hahas!!
Thus 1D had to fight with us and in the end we lost... :'( But its actually nvm la, anyway there's nth much abt it... Heehee...

Later after break was another talk on cyber-wellness by SCs... Then after that was a quiz and there was a 'virus'... Whoever gets hit would have to answer qns... LOLS... Somehow Jeffry so suay got hit by the virus... :P

Then we continued on with our lessons at 1.15, thus skipping CID (which Yi Jun was very happy and he need not see a particular teacher... lols... xD)... So we had drama and we continued watching the show...

Yeh, today was the only day after EOYs that we do not have any lessons which we have to study, since drama we get to watch the show... =]

Open House

Just now was open house and it was quite tiring and sianxx esp with the teacher's two 5-6 yr old sons wrecking the booth...
One kept destroying Yi Sheng's robot head and attach it with as many "red wings" as possible...
Then Yi Sheng decided to screw off the whole head...
Those two kids kept screwing whatever robos that they can find... But luckily they didn touch the catapult which Liang Hui kept playing with... Otherwise it would be "2 Mad Kids On The Loose" if they do know how to fire it... Hahas...
In the end at 12+ then we were allowed to leave... phew...
And to think of it, i didn even introduce RV to any parents... sighh... X_X

It was liked sooo scary in the morning right after IRP..
It was Science... And Mr Chen entered the classroom with huge stacks of papers with string...
Yeh, u should get it...
Everybody was freaking out when he was giving out the papers and im soo scared... but luckily still okay... manage to pass science le... although bio havent give out... =))

Then CID lalala and maths... Caspar, Yong Wee and I were sooo scared bcuz we thought we gonna hav to present but Mrs Chak wanna give out paper first... Ooops...
We sat according to our reg nos and the tension in the classroom cannot be described... Then realised paper 1 lost two marks bcuz of ~~um...~~ careless... WTH...
ARGH!!!!
After that found out that Yan Shan got higher marks, won by one mark in paper 1...
*pft* (no hard feelings kayzz?) jkjk
Then she gave out paper 2 section B... omgomg... got quite low... sighh... Just hoping that section A also wont do so badly otherwise cannot get A le.... Grrrrr

Straight after maths was english... It was the worst subject of all...

Then realised that the paper 2 sections A, B and C all borderline pass... phew!!
Dont care, dont bother, dont like english... english sux... *hmph* and only hoping for a pass can le...

Today is the first day ever since EOYs are over and I thought there would be no lessons but im wrong...
English lesson mr faizad gave alot of notes and also gave back the ICFS English paper and the Lang Arts EOY 2006 Qns Paper...
When he was giving out the question paper i thought he wuld give back us our answer scripts but luckily he never give out -- otherwise cannot slack le...
Then for the ICFS English paper it is a miracle tt i didn get COP but credit... Usually in pri sch for english i get COP... LOLZ... >.<
After that he told us to do a PCK Script for a competition and he say we not serious so told us to do a ws where we wuld hav to write a 100-150 words in <15mins... style="color: rgb(255, 153, 255);">And he almost "KA-BOOM!!" le... Hahaz... T.T

After that during CID we were the 4th grp to be called to do the presentation...
But it's still better than being 3rd... Ever since NJRC....
During the presentation dunno what to say cuz never prepare anything... Prepared to get low marks le... sighhh....
While we were crapping then mrs chak alarm rang off and it was tt exact time when our ppt finish le.... So zhun3... exactly 4 mins... lols.... xD

Then after school heard got Malay test so we all rush to zap or copy the scripts and when the teacher come we guys were sooo enthu tt all of us wanted to be first cuz since our scripts are the same the first time teacher hears it she wuld be more impressed... Hahas!! And sorry yu jun that i kope almost all of ur scripts.... Hahaz... X.X

After tt we went to the last session of PSS then we were told to rehearse our cheer but we didn care and in 5-10mins our PSLs thought of a cheer and told us to quickly rehearse it cuz not much time le...
Then went up to cheer and i thought we kenna lose le cuz others we much better but during the results WE ACTUALLY GOT FIRST!!! YAY!!!
But actually we should thank our PSLs for the cheer and to think of it, we didn do much and it was a 5mins work...
So maybe our class should be called 1Choingers cuz almost everything we do all rush de....
Hahas!! =] It's a pity PSS over le cuz now after exams usually nth to do.... :'(

Today's chinese paper was quite difficult, and the main reason was the lack of time given... And the whole class was choinging the paper like mad... There were ~~soo many compres~~ um.. three and to the teacher if they wanna say nicer its only two cuz the first compre separated into 2 more portions... Diaoz... T.T Another stupid trick of saying tt there's only two compres...

At the final minute of the paper people were still choinging at the final minute even after the gay teacher told us to stop writing... But some ppl still writing the final words... Hahas... And then *Disclaimer: The below is not to be used as evidence in principal's office for cheating* i look around and saw that many ppl havent finish the paper yet... Sighhh... The last few qns i wrote only 1-2 lines of blabbering rubbish and those qns 6 marks... wth... Now hoping can pass jiu4 happy like siao4 le... LOLZ!! xD

Finally EOYs over le... Now can tekan my sister cuz she nxt wk exam... Hahas!! xD

The paper suckss like hell... Sth abt personal response qns and must write 2 ~~essays~~ um short essays no less than 150 words (source: lang arts qns paper) and each essay 10 marks... And the qns wants u to write abt ur personal feelings towards someone and what do u think of this person's remark... Sian Dao.... Just hoping that can pass happy le....

Well, today's maths paper is far way unsurprisingly more easy than the freaky science ytd... ::Duh:: The Science paper sucks.... +o(

The first paper was the paper 1... Guess who is our invigilator again?? The gay teacher (gay has 2 meanings, intepret it urself.... lolz =])... And it was like we kept shouting his name b4 the exam by the Hard Gay Yahoo! style... LOL!! xD Then the paper started and i was like.... HUH?? Did i leave out any qns?? I actually finished the paper at 8.30... Yea, dont say that i act pls pple.... =X But then when I counted the marks and added it together it consists of only 42 marks, instead of 50 marks... WTH... Scammed us of 8 marks... Hahas... Yeah, u may think that i really have nothing to do and slack down there but to think of paper 2, kelvin was much more better -- showing a -.- face and staring it all the while (source: kelvin's nick)... Just hoping that i didnt make any careless... =]

Then after that guy released us we were like sooo sian dao and ran for break and was chatting with my frens and i saw her and we smiled at each other... =] Den after break we went back to class and ~~start making noise~~ um, discuss maths, especially e freaky reflection... Den kai xin went to whiteboard to write some things and totoro immediately erased away.... What Does She Think She Is?? She is neither an SC nor Class Comittee de, and sometimes voluntarily help SC switch off the class light... T.T Then totoro not happy den we purposely continue... Hahas!! :) Den teacher came and everybody immediately choing back to their places and the teacher knows Caspar.... LOL.... xD

Before the teachr give out the paper she say the paper got mistake den i ask her to write but she bu4 ken3... Sad... Then when checking the paper I saw the number 18888848 on one of the qns i wanna faint le... And the essay even worst... Talking abt number system again... Sianz... 8 marks... Just hope that paper 2 wont pull my marks down....

Now thinking abt tomoro's LA paper i wanna die le... Hopefully i wont fail LA....

today is the WORST day of my rv life... stupid lame bloody sucky science exam... its not the whole paper, but is the freaky and screwy bio section... i think i gonna fail sci le.... all hail and phanks to bio....

there's dis freakin qns in bio where we were asked to draw a nerve cell diag and i dont even know wth was it... i just hand in a neat and scratchless and inkless diagram... sigh... my bio really really wan2 dan4 le... might as well jus hand in a blank script... sianz.... other than lang arts, bio is the next worst subject.... only worry now is that i might fail science den i kenna si4 le..... =[

today is the bloody geog paper.... it was sooo difficult.... esp the mapp skills of the world and when the ans is to shade brazil, i went to shade chile!? lolx.... den our invigilator is mr hu.... he soo gay.... even worse den sme of my pri sch frens (um....) den finally paper over le.... yayay.... alas the horrible geog is over.... hope i dont fail my geog.... sigh.... hey dis is actually to those in rig who worked real hard last week, stayin back for the whole holidayz... i just wanna say sorry for "screwing" up the robo at the finals, causin us to flunk to the bottom of the list and tt i also didnt help out in the booth design part... so im really sry... e robo was just sooo perfect and yet i crush our hopes of gettin sth in just 50secs... maybe nxt yyr ur shud get another progmr from sec1'07 as progrmr... so tt we wuld hav more hopes of winning.... anyway, the only motivation for nxt yr is to prove ssc wrong...
